If you tilt the phone just a little bit to the side, you'll see that things get lighter and less bright, just like the first Pixel phones. The Pixel 2 XL seems to have a less amazing screen than last year's model. This could be because of the polarizer, the glass finish, or a less impressive manufacturing process. Pixel 2 XL with Android Oreo hides the display settings to get "pure colors," which makes pictures, games, and videos have a little more color saturation.

But the difference is not all that clear. When choosing between the 5-inch Google Pixel 2 and the 6-inch Pixel 2 XL, the size of the screen is important, but so is the quality of the screen.
