New Zealand Shifts to Mandatory Registration for All Social Workers from February

New Zealand has made it mandatory for all social workers to register before taking employment in the country. The immigration instructions have been amended to incorporate social worker occupations into the list of jobs that demand registration under the highly skilled migrant category.

To enter the social worker job profile, you must have either a Bachelor's or a Master's degree. Some experience in the required field will be an added asset. As a first-time applicant, if you are not aware of the vital rules, then you better speak with a highly experienced immigration adviser.
