NASA Made History By Transmitting Missy Elliott Song The Rain (Supa Dupa Fly) To Venus Via Deep Space Network

NASA has successfully broadcast Missy Elliott's 1997 hit song "The Rain (Supa Dupa Fly)" to Venus, making it the first time a hip-hop music has been sent into space. The communication was made possible by NASA's Deep Space Network (DSN) from the Jet Propulsion Laboratory in southern California. The song traveled at the speed of light for 158 million miles to Venus, taking around 14 minutes to arrive.
