How does Infrared(IR) Interpretation Equipment work?

A specialized audio system used to facilitate simultaneous interpretation during conferences, meetings, and events is known as an Infrared (IR) Simultaneous Interpretation System. Interpreters work in soundproof booths or designated areas that are outfitted with interpreter consoles. These consoles are equipped with headsets and microphones, allowing interpreters to listen to the source language while speaking the interpreted language. The interpreted audio is sent to participants via infrared transmitters in IR Interpretation Equipment systems. These transmitters send out infrared signals that contain interpreted audio.Participants use their receiver’s language channel to select the language they want to hear. As the interpreter speaks into the microphone, their interpretation is transmitted to the selected language channel via infrared.
