Florida Imposed Restrictions On Social Media For Minors

Florida Governor Ron DeSantis has passed legislation prohibiting minors under 14 from having social media accounts. The regulation compels 14- and 15-year-olds to requires parental permission before creating accounts on sites such as Meta, TikTok, and others. In Florida, all social media users are required to produce identity documents to verify their age.
