Sree Ramu College of Arts & Science was started in the year 1996 by Shri. S. Ramasamy Reddiar. It is a co-educational institution run by the RVS Trust. With 33 years of educational experience, the Trust lays emphasis on the all-round development of the students. It aims to make the students successful individuals and equip them to meet the challenges of the present information age. The College is situated on Pollachi – Valparai Main Road at N.M. Sungam, about 30 km away from Coimbatore city.

The College boasts spacious classrooms, well-equipped and modern laboratories, an excellently stocked Central Library, and a Post-Graduate departmental Library with an admirable collection of books. Additionally, the campus includes an Auditorium, Academic Block, Administrative Block, and a playground with all Outdoor Games besides facilities for Indoor Games.
