Tamil Nadu CM Opposes UGC Draft Rules For Vice-Chancellor Appointments
Tamil Nadu Chief Minister MK Stalin raised a resolution in the State Assembly on Thursday opposing the University Grants Commission's (UGC) new draft guidelines for the appointment of Vice-Chancellors. CM Stalin stated that these rules should be revoked, calling them an attack on federalism and detrimental to Tamil Nadu's higher education system.
