The New Zealand Government has granted border exemptions for almost two hundred dairy farm workers and their family members. It comprises almost one hundred and fifty Herd managers and fifty farm assistants. They are needed for critical need areas only.
Firstly, both employer and employee eligibility needs must be fulfilled. It may take at most three months to prepare the Dairy NA application. Prioritization criteria will apply if the demand exceeds a certain number of workers.
