He was recruited by the Medical University of South Carolina as the first facial plastic surgery in Charleston SC to the institution. By working for 10 years in academia as a full-time employed physician and subsequently in independent private practice with a mix of insured, self-pay, and indigent patients, Dr. Hochman has a unique lens through which he views healthcare delivery. His private practice draws patients from throughout the southeastern United States and internationally.
