India Will Host 28th Malabar Naval Exercise With US, Japan, And Australia In October

India is preparing to conduct the famed Malabar naval drill in the Bay of Bengal this October, alongside the United States, Japan, and Australia. This comes amid rising regional tensions caused by China's assertive operations in the South China Sea and its growing presence in the Indian Ocean Region (IOR). The 28th edition of the exercise will concentrate on modern anti-submarine warfare and seeks to improve military interoperability among the four countries.
