How to Withdraw Money from Your Robinhood Account?

Whether you are making the switch to another broker or just moving profits to your bank account, it’s important to know exactly how to withdraw your money from your Robinhood account. First, you need to make sure your funds that you want to withdraw are fully settled otherwise you will need to wait a few days before completing this process. Tap on the person icon in the bottom right of your screen to get to your profile. Then, tap the three lines at the top right to access the Menu.

The second option in the Menu will be titles Transfers. Tap Transfers. This will bring you to the Transfer screen. Here, tap Transfer Money. You will also be able to see how much cash is available for withdrawal on the screen.

On the Transfer Money screen, you will enter the details of the money transfer. Enter in the amount you wish to withdrawal. Then, select Robinhood in the From field and your linked bank account in to To field. Then, tap Transfer at the bottom to submit the request. You should see a confirmation screen that says Withdrawal Submitted.

You can tap Done and you’ve finished your withdrawal request or you can tap View Withdraw Confirmation to see the details of your request to transfer funds out of Robinhood. The details should give you an expected Available date that you can expect the transfer to be completed. Robinhood will notify you when the transfer is complete, but you may see the funds arrive in your bank account before getting a notification from Robinhood depending on your bank.
