Funding for non-domestic Learners in the work-based Learning for 2023

A wide range of funding options has been introduced for non-domestic learners in 2023 by the Tertiary Education Commission. The exemptions are designed to support the objective of the Government to achieve a highly skilled migrant workforce with the right type of skills to support the economy of the country. 

The list totally aligns with the Green List and Sector Agreements developed by the Ministry of Business, Innovation, and Employment. It will help employers hire migrants to fill highly specific skilled occupations. TEC uses skills matching information with that of the Workforce Development Councils for funding alignment.
