Nishat Bagh,Srinagar
Nishat Bagh is a Mughal Garden (one of the many gardens built by Mughal emperor during their reign in India) in Srinagar in the north Indian state of Jammu & Kashmir. Nishat means “joy”, and the garden was aptly named as it brought lots of joy to people who experienced its beautiful vibes. It is known to be the second largest Mughal Garden in Kashmir, after the famous Shalimar Bagh.

Nishat Bagh was designed and built in the year 1633 CE by Asif Khan, who was the elder brother of Nur Jehan – the twentieth wife of the fourth Mughal emperor Jehangir.
