Jagadguru Shree Kripalu ji Maharaj Sadhna Niyam

Jagadguru Shri Kripalu Ji Maharaj personally conducted month-long devotional programmes in Bhakti Dham Mangarh from 1966 to 2013. Prior to the commencement of each programme, Kripaluji spoke very directly about the rules he expected all participants to follow so that they gain the most from their attendance. He often said that just as there are laws governing everything in the universe, there are laws governing devotional practice.

Jagadguru Shri Kripalu Ji Maharaj was born in a small village Mangarh on the auspicious night of Sharatpurnima. His father's name was Shri Lalta Prasad Tripathi and mother's name was Mrs. Bhagwati Devi. Looking at the child with loving eyes, mother named him Ramkripalu Tripathi. At the time of his birth, all the villagers became happy and a special fragrance spread in the entire atmosphere.
