IELTS ACADEMIC TEST

It is for those who want to apply for higher education in educational institutes in English - speaking country. This score is considered for admissions in undergraduate or postgraduate courses.

IELTS GENERAL TRAINING TESTING

This test is given by those candidates who are planning to migrate and apply for higher education, training programs, and work experience in English-speaking countries. The main focus of this exam is on the general survival skills needed at the workplace or training. This is mandatory for those who want to migrate to countries especially the U.K., Australia, Canada, and New Zealand.

IELTS is accepted as proof of English Language proficiency for study. IELTS gives the chance to know your ability to understand, read, write and speak English. NOW IT’S TIME TO LET YOU KNOW ABOUT THE FORMAT OF THE ACADEMIC TEST

It has 4 parts -

 LISTENING - 30 MINUTES

READING - 60 MINUTES

WRITING - 60 MINUTES

SPEAKING - 11 TO 14 MINUTES

 The listening, reading, and writing components of IELTS Tests are taken up on the same day with no break. The speaking test can be completed within a week after or before any other test.

IELTS GENERAL TRAINING - FOR WORK

Language skills are important for any carrier's success and are considered a valuable asset in addition to all the other requirements of any job.

Many professional organizations such as accounting, law, health professionals, and also other sectors such as government, construction, energy, and tourism. English language competence is required because it is the most common language in the world that people understand very well. Professional bodies and employers accept IELTS band scores, hence IELTS TEST is necessary. 

IELTS FOR MIGRATION

It is the only secure English language test accepted by the UK Visas and Immigration for Visa clients applying outside and inside the UK. It is required for permanent residency in AUSTRALIA, NEW ZEALAND, CANADA, and the UK. To apply for PR you would have to take the IELTS general exam. This test is designed to assess English language skills overall. A good IELTS SCORE is required to apply for a permanent residency visa.

The IELTS ACADEMIC TEST is available for 48 dates per year and IELTS GENERAL TRAINING TEST is available for 24 dates per year.

IELTS UK

If you are applying for a visa to stay or move to the UK for that you need to give IELTS UKVI.

A test has been introduced IELTS LIFE SKILLS TEST. But, you need to give both academic and general training tests also.

This test is required if you are applying for a TIER 4 student visa to enter university.

 IELTS UKVI is conducted on the computer in many locations.

IELTS Academic for UK visas and immigration - this test is for those who want to apply for higher education or pursue professional courses such as medical doctors and nurses in the UK.

IELTS general training for UK visas and immigration - This test is for those who are planning to migrate, and apply for secondary education and work experience in the UK.

IELTS LIFE SKILLS AND LEVELS

A1 - If you are applying for UK Visas and immigration Family, Spouse, or Partner. This test takes 16-18 minutes.

A2 - If you are applying for UK Visas and immigration for a family of a settled person extension visa. This test takes 20 minutes.

A3 - If you are applying for UK Visas and Immigration for citizenship. This test takes 22 minutes.

There will be no break given for both speaking and listening skills as both will be assessed at the same time.

IELTS CRITERIA

Candidates under the age of 16 will not be able to give IELTS test.

It is a must to be given by those candidates who are working professionals who want to work abroad.

It is mandatory for those planning to emigrate to Canada, New Zealand, or Australia.

The minimum qualification required is 10+2 for the IELTS exam.
