About RAS/RTS Prelims & Mains Exam
The Rajasthan Administrative Service (RAS) and Rajasthan Taxation Service (RTS) are competitive exams conducted by the Rajasthan Public Service Commission (RPSC) for recruitment to various administrative positions in the state of Rajasthan, India. The RAS/RTS exam is conducted in two stages: Prelims and Mains.
The RAS/RTS Prelims exam consists of multiple-choice questions on General Knowledge and General Science. It is a screening test to select candidates for the Mains exam.
The RAS/RTS Mains exam consists of four papers: General Studies-I, General Studies-II, General Studies-III, and General Hindi and General English. The General Studies papers cover topics such as History, Geography, Polity, Economy, Environment and Ecology, and Science and Technology. The General Hindi and General English papers test the language proficiency of the candidates.
